What a time! We hit the road bright and early, and made good time to Pittsburgh driving through all manner of country. Then the rain hit.
Maybe that dark and dreary sky tinted my opinion of Pittsburgh, but I don't think I want anything to do with the place...
So, after sitting on the side of the road in a downpour, we shoved off once again, winding through the sprawling Pitt suburbs, sitting in traffic, and jammin' to tunes that carried us to Cleveland and Cayuga National Park before sundown.
After a tasty and thrifty meal in a small picnic area, we learned that all camping in the park was prohibited, including car camping.
So we headed to the nearby residence areas and canvased the local populace on their levels of trust and generosity. We talked to a number of people, explaining we were looking for a place to park over night. Sadly, we were not met with the openness we had hoped for and ended up in a Walmart parking for the night.
No matter! The morning dawned bright and beautiful. I earned the name "Fox with Bushy tail in the Morning" and now we are in Detroit!
See you soon!!
