Easter Weekend was GORGEOUS: so, we were inspired to hit the Yurt for a celebration. *Yurt - A large, more permanent, tent like structure*
It is nights like these - where good people come together and sing through the dark of night and into morning light - that remind me of what a "party" should be. Sadly, I think many college parties have strayed too far from this original and captivating community experience.
When spring arrives after a long winter in Hamilton New York, one has no choice, but to relish in the warmth and sun, with good friends and food.
...We thought winter had left, and then this happened -
Mother winter always seems to have the last laugh, so I try to laugh right along with her.
For this week, that meant making some art, going to a rap concert, visiting a local farmers market and cooking and eating a sustainably sourced meal!

It is amazing how a place can go from one extreme to the other in just a week or even a day!
Call me crazy, but I think the weather has been a little more extreme these last few years..
