Conversation

I come away glowing

from good conversation

its inspiring

the way two people can come together and lose themselves in a moment of verbal dance

powerful

how this back and forth

the building of one upon the other

and simultaneous picking the world apart

can create something

and the worth of this verbal creation?

no castle of physical space

but no less valuable than any estate modern or historic

and it is so much more than verbal vibrations

more than two animals squawking at one another

the substance of discussion is not found in the land of the "real"

except in the smile it brings to my lips

the body of conversation

the one I lust for and crave

is something only we can see

only we can hear

some line of thought

some painted picture of words

and as the conversation closes

and we go our seperate ways

that careful foundation we built starts to unravel

unspool and overflow in a torrent of disordered pictureswordssensesfeelingsperceptions
