Having a bigger house is just more things to worry about, more places to put stuff, leading you to buy more stuff to fill the space.

When I lived in a van in New Zealand for 2 months, that was one of the simplest, most content times in my life. The number of times that I missed having a living room and a kitchen were far out-weighed by the mobility and simplicity.
